Career decisions like this are difficult. The best thing you can do as you research a career in nursing is to do a self-assessment and be sure that your interests, skills and values match up to that career. Also, I would begin to do some informational interviewing and speak with people who are currently in the nursing profession. Ask them how they got started, what they like/dislike about the nursing profession, challenges they face, and what skills are needed to be successful.
