My expertise is interior design but I do love to draw beautiful gowns and fashion statement clothing and I like to sew and this aspect of creativity we share. That being said the two careers are vastly different from a business point of view. I think fashion is self promoting while interior designer is a service provided industry. You become the primary focus of the brand which you must maintain. With that in mind, to be successful in fashion uniqueness is paramount and becomes primary to stay artisticly relevant and almost impossible to achieve with out unstoppable determination. If fashion is your passion, put on your best tap shoes for in this present and demanding culture of ant sized attention spans you are in for the dance of your life. Good luck!!
