Licenses for cosmetology are state-specific. So the first step is to search for the requirements of being a licensed barber in your state. On that website should also give you information of what types of training programs they accept as experience hours to go towards your license. If the government website doesn't specifically list which programs qualify, it may. mean any accredited school that trains individuals to pass their barber license would be enough.
