When majoring in business, is it a good idea to minor or take private lessons in piano?

I would like to major in business accounting at UT Austin, but am not sure if I will have time to fit piano into my schedule. I have been playing the piano since I was 5 years old. #Business

Hi Ken,

Great question. Going to university can be a stressful and overwhelming time with lots going on in classes and having to keep up with work. What I found when attending university is that no matter how busy you are, there is a need to find time for yourself. I think you continuing your passion for piano through lessons or minoring in it will provide you with that time and overall benefit your university experience.

Hope this helps,

Brett

You should try to manage your time during university and manager your priorities to ensure you are able to successful devote time to studying, piano lessons, and other important interests of yours. Maintaining a healthy balance will allow for a very positive experience during your time at university.
