What is your FAVORITE thing about being a vet?
I decided to start at WSU this year, I am just looking to raise my motivation for going!

Hi Laura,
I am tempted to be flippant and say my favorite thing is that the patients have fur (or feathers or scales). But of course the patients usually come with people too.
So, my favorite thing is that veterinarians get to spend the day helping animals AND people who are distressed of their animal is not well or needs preventative care. Also, veterinarians get to educate people about animal health and sometimes get animals out of cruel living situations.
