Is Marine Biology worth pursuing in the Philippines?
Hi! As mentioned, I live in the Philippines and one of my top career choices is Marine Biology. My only issue is that I'm not too sure where or how to start, and I'd also like to know how lucrative it is in this country.
I would appreciate some insight. Thank you!

There are also some good marine science studies here in Australia. Examples are James Cook University and Southern Cross University. Also, there are some good M University of Florida and the Universities in the USA.

There are lot of reputable schools like University of the Philippines, Silliman University, and Ateneo de Manila University offer degrees related to Marine Biology. UP MSI, for example, has a strong research focus. You can also open your doors to fieldwork opportunities, whether it’s in marine protected areas or collaborating with local environmental organizations. Internships and research assistant positions are great ways to gain hands-on experience.
