How hard was schooling for an informatics nurse?

Hi, any type of nursing school program is challenging because you need to learn both medical and clinical (how the body works and how to perform the patient care that is needed in the hospital), but with informatics you also need to understand/learn IT systems and to analyze data as well.
Any kind of nursing school program is tough, but worth it because you will always have so many great job opportunities!

Sorry to reply late! Schooling for an informatics nurse can be challenging but worth it. You first complete nursing school to become an RN, then study health technology and data systems. It’s a mix of nursing and computer work, tough at times, but very rewarding if you love both healthcare and tech.
