Are you in college? Most universities partner with Handshake for academic internships and part-time jobs. Also, a quick Google search for "internship program in Civil engineering, Architecture, or Aerospace Engineering" led me to a lot of websites with applications, so I would try that!

Hi Cody!
For Architecture firms, many have their contact info (email, phone number) on their website. I would recommend emailing them and asking if they have any internship opportunities currently or coming up (summer internships are very common). If you have a resume to send along with the email - even better! If you’ve already done this with no luck, I would ask your architecture teacher/professors for recommendations of local firms to apply to. If you’re in college attend the career fairs! Firms will set up tables and you can have face to face contact with architects and may even interview on the spot!
Good Luck!

Hi Cody. I would suggest looking into an internship with the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), which has chapters in most states. I served on the CMAA Internship board for several years and took on interns from their annual program. Some of these interns ended up working at our construction management company in Los Angeles. The CMAA Internship program connects you with various public and private companies, allowing you to choose between working with a builder, a transportation agency, or a construction management company like ours that handles public works projects. CMAA also offers the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) accreditation, which is recognized globally and is often required for lead Construction Managers. There are probably similar associations for aerospace and design.
