What was the most important thing you learned from nursing school?

I realized I didn't know much about nursing at first. School gave me the basics to pass the exams, but I truly learned how to be a nurse once I got real-life experience. In nursing school, you have to follow their rules, but it's important to balance it with enjoying life outside of school and loving the profession.
