Can you get internships after college?
Absolutely! I just finished up my college degree and I'm interning this summer. Everyone's path is different, and interning after college is totally great; in some industries, that will be what you're offered since they don't take full time people right off the bat.
What are these internships like?
internships can be very hands on and give you really great insight into what a career is like, or they can be fetching coffee for the bosses. A good way to figure out what they might have you do is to ask what projects they are hoping to accomplish. Even if they have you on coffee runs, don't be afriad to step up and ask to help out on more career-related work.
Are internships after college paid or no?
Some are; some aren't!
What should a student do to secure an internship after college?
Go to a job fair, research, and talk to friends who might know someone in a field. You've already started building your network of connections and you didn't even know it.
What opportunities does an internship after college present?
Sometimes they lead to full-time offers, which is fantastic! If they don't, which may happen if they don't have space to take on new hires, etc, it is still a fantastic learning experience. Add those people to your connections (and Linked In, if you have them). You never know if something will pop up down the road!

Great question! We hire recent grads all the time as part of our summer internship program here at Saatchi & Saatchi. Here are my thoughts on your questions:
Can you get internships after college?
Yes! I always suggest that new grads apply to our internship program, because it is a great way to get some relevant experience. Plus, we hire many of our intern into full time roles, so it helps if they are graduated and ready to start a full time role!
Are internships after college paid or no?
Yes, Absolutely!
What should a student do to secure an internship after college?
I would encourage them to start looking for internship opportunities at the beginning of the year, as many companies kick off their recruiting efforts for internship programs in January & February.
What opportunities does an internship after college present?
Along with getting some great experience, it gives them an opportunity to put all that education to work! And, as mentioned above, it could lead to a full time role!
