Hi Anderson,
There are many, many scholarships out there. I'd recommend first looking at your school's website to see if there's a page that lists scholarships. Then, look online. For example, check out https://scholarshipamerica.org/students/browse-scholarships/ - they have hundreds of scholarships listed.
In terms of "easy" scholarship money - the large majority of scholarships will require you to at least answer a few questions about yourself. But scholarships are not always as competitive as you might think. This is why I'd recommend starting with local scholarships, especially ones targeted at your school. There's a decent chance you'll win some. I remember when I was in high school one girl in my class won like 6 or 7 scholarships just because she was basically the only person to apply to them.
Last thing I'll add - depending on your family's financial situation, you can get a solid amount of financial support through government grants. Some universities offer very generous scholarships for lower-income students that all you need to do is fill out a government website/form called FAFSA to qualify for.

Hi Anderson,
I agree 100% with the previous answers. When it comes to scholarships a lot of attention is focused on single, large sum scholarships. But as has been pointed out, the more attention a scholarship gets the more competitive they are. Cobble together a number of small scholarships and they can add up to make quite a sizable dent in your tuition and room and board bill.
Contact your school counselor and they likely have a list of local scholarships. Some schools will even have a page on their website that lists them (ours does). These might be local organizations or even individuals who donate money every year. Our area has a couple of dozen I think - and we live in a very small school district.
Sometimes a scholarship may be very specific (for instance only for students who are going to go to a specific university to study a specific subject) but often they are simply just limited to a specific school district. As Isaac commented, sometimes there may only be a couple or no other people who apply to them. Applying for many different scholarships is going to be more work than just one, but the odds of a payoff are higher.
All the best, Philip

Hii !
If you want scholarships that are easier to win, start with the ones at your own school or in your local area. Not many students apply to those, so the competition is low.
Since you play sports, look for athletic scholarships too even smaller ones help. And try applying to simple online scholarships that only need a short form or a small answer. Just apply to a bunch of them.
It’s really about applying early and applying often. The more you try, the more you’ll win.

Hi!
If you are looking for scholarship money, know that it can be easier to get than you might think. You should apply to as many scholarships as possible because no scholarship is too small and everything adds up over time. Even if you feel like you do not fully meet the requirements, it is still worth shooting your shot. Many scholarships have to be used, and sometimes they go unclaimed simply because no one applies. My brother actually received a scholarship just because he was the only person who applied for it. You never really know what you might get, and the only thing you risk losing is a little bit of time filling out the application.
Many scholarships are available online through school websites, community organizations, and scholarship search platforms.
It also helps to keep a strong academic record, get involved in activities, and write a short personal statement that explains goals and achievements. By starting early and applying consistently, you can earn scholarship money to help pay for school without having to repay it.

Hello! I would apply to as many as you can. You will never turn down assistance to pursue your dreams. It will ease some of the financial pressures. There are many avenues to explore, first start at your school with your counselor. I would look in your own community as there are more than you think that are out there and available.
