Vianne’s Answer

I'm not a social worker yet, but I've learned that social workers can really change people's lives. They help during tough times by providing resources, stability, and hope. Whether they're working with families, kids, or communities, you can see the difference they make.

Many social workers say their favorite part is advocating for others and making sure people feel heard, especially when they don't have much support. In areas like child protection or foster care, the work can be tough but also very rewarding because you're keeping children safe and helping families through hard times. The chance to support people, connect them with resources, and be there when they need help is what inspires me. I'm still exploring different paths in social work, but hearing what others love about it makes me even more interested.
