When applyng for a scholarship, should I use my personal account or my college account?
I commonly use my personal account when signing up for scholarships, but I'm wondering if it's better for me to use my college account instead.

I recommend using your college account for college related opportunities as it will show you are actively attending which adds credibility to your application.

Hey Bram, good question and it's one a lot of students overlook! Your college email is almost always the better choice because it instantly verifies that you're an active student, which adds credibility to your application. Some scholarships actually require a .edu email address and will filter out personal accounts, so using your college email makes sure you don't accidentally get disqualified. It also looks more professional to scholarship committees and keeps all your scholarship related correspondence separate from your personal inbox, making it easier to track deadlines and responses. Just make sure you're checking that college email regularly or set up forwarding to your personal account so you don't miss anything important!
