When did you realize you were happy with your career path?

What experiences have you endured that made you realize all your efforts were worth it? What did you wish you did differently to get where you are currently?

Everyone's experience is different but for me, it was when work felt less like work and doing what I was supposed to.

Interesting question! One example of when I realized my efforts were worth it was when an employee who reported to me said she saved a little post it note I had placed on her desk with a positive message for 10 years on her refrigerator! Made me realize all the positives you can say or do make a difference.

Only thing I can think of that I wish I had done differently was to do more of those positive notes!
