What are the key things women in architecture should focus on to succeed and advance in the field”?
I'm currently a high school senior. I attend a technical high school and have been focusing on architecture as my major since 9th grade. I am certified in AutoCAD and Revit. I"m excited about the field.

Stay focused on your goals, nurture your creativity, and keep learning. Most importantly, don’t lose sight of why you chose architecture in the first place—enjoy the process, because passion is what sustains growth and long‑term success in this field.

Hi Madison.
Sounds like you’re going to be in the top third of the incoming class. To stay that way, you need to know details and talk constructability. This isn’t something a lot of classes or instructors teach, so challenge them and yourself in knowing how to put things together, which is what a drawing is about. The more clarity you have in design, the farther ahead you’ll be from your peers.
