what other type of careers could I think about if I've been thinking about physical therapy?

Physical therapy is my first option when it comes to a career I would enjoy. I haven't really thought about other careers. If physical therapy interests me, I would like to know other careers that are similar to that that you might have thought of and that would most likely interest me as well.

Leyla, you might want to think about going to medical school and becoming a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, also called a physiatrist. These are physicians who work to reestablish function for patients with disabilities due to congenital disorders, injuries, or disease. They work closely with physical and other therapists and tend to think very holistically about their patients— caring about not only their medical and physical issues, but also social/emotional and vocational ones.

Thank you for your question. I am glad to know you have interest to become physiotherapist. For other careers options, below are my suggestions :
1. Think about what you have interest, eg your hobbies, favorite subjects, etc. and find related careers
Eg if yiu have interest in maths, would you like to become an engineer, accountant, banker, financial analyst, maths teacher, etc
If you like music, would you like to become a musician, musical artist, singer, musician producer, music composer, etc
2. Find out more on tgese careers and determine what yiu gave interest
3. Speak to someone who are working in these careers. Seek guidance from your mentor, school career counselor, your parents, etc.
4. Shortlist 1-2 careers you would like to pursue
5. Explore the entry criteria of relevant subjexrs in colleges
Hooe thus helis! Good luck!
May Almighty God bless you!

Hello, I think that it is a good career to go in and learn a lot from. If you are thinking about others that are similar I would suggest Occupational Therapy helping patients regain skills needed for daily living or if you want to go into healthcare with that career you can be a Respiratory Therapist they treat patients with cardiopulmonary and breathing disorders mostly working alongside rehabilitation teams. I hope this answers your question
