Sheri’s Answer

Hey Alexia. Yes, though they may not have those degrees paired together. If you want to graduate with a double major I would recommend making sure your credits can be transferable between your degrees. Meet with a college advisor as soon as possible and map out your classes by semester in order to keep yourself on track to get both degrees in a reasonable period of time.

Sheri recommends the following next steps:

Meet with a college advisor and confirm what options are available at the colleges you're exploring.

Alex’s Answer

Yes most colleges offer a double major. However, a lot of colleges make it very difficult to graduate in 4 years with 2 majors. Not all credits work the same way. We used to call them 2fers (2 for 1). One class that would count for 2 different requirements. It was almost like a loophole in the system.

Over time the school got smart and made less available for this practice. Ultimately the schools want to make more money on tuition and they do that by making you to take more classes ;)
