Jeremy’s Answer

Hi Vincent,

The gaming industry is certainly growing more popular each day among entertainment online and on television. Universities are starting to recognize the potential for young individuals to work and practice their skills by offering courses more related to gaming or even scholarships for gaming.

If you'd like to simply earn money while playing games at your leisure, I'd give streaming a go. Platforms like Twitch, Youtube, or Mixer offer wide avenues of different personalities. Another way to go is to pursue an education related to gaming, such as software engineering or computer animation. This can help you stand out when applying for positions in the gaming industry. Your passion for gaming typically won't make you stand out as most applicants to a gaming position share similar passions.

Best of luck Vincent!
