In a typical week, how many hours do you work?

I am a pediatric registered nurse and I work 36 hours a week. This comes out to 12 hour days three times a week. Depending on the unit you work on, those 36 hours can be so exhausting! So when people think nurses have an easy schedule because we “only work three days a week” they don’t understand that the other days are typically used to recover!
