What colleges should I go to if I want to be a forensic artist?

I'm in 11th grade and I want to be a forensic artist because I like forensics and I also really like art. #art #forensic

Hi Kari! What is it that interests you most about forensic art? There are a lot of pathways to a career in that field, whether you are interested in starting in forensics, or studio art, or criminal justice. While forensic art as a college major may not be very common, it is definitely possible to double-major in studio or digital art as well as something that would help you with the forensic side of your interests, whether it is forensic science, human anatomy, or criminal justice. I recommend searching schools that have strong art programs as well as strong science or criminal justice programs.

Keep in mind too that any career that involves artwork requires a lot of practice, so getting opportunities to build a diverse portfolio early on is vital! As technology advances to help in the forensics field, digital rendering is a powerful tool, so don't be afraid to learn new digital techniques alongside more traditional methods.
