Healthcare is a very rewarding career. Everyday is different. Some are more challenging than others, as in any career. What remains constant are the lives you have the ability to touch on a daily basis. If you're just starting, or thinking about starting a career in healthcare, my advice would be to take on a part-time job, volunteer, or even intern in the healthcare setting you're interested in. There are many different opportunities. Find an area that truly excites and motivates you. I found this helpful to figure out my strengths and what areas of healthcare I'm most passionate about.

There are many areas of specialization in nursing. Take advantage of the amazing opportunities. Get certified. Get an advanced degree. Nursing will reward you 1000 times over. If I knew your goals, I could be more helpful
