Working for a Security vendor like Symantec is both challenging and rewarding because I meet new clients almost everyday. The exciting part is trying to fit the pieces together when a client has a security problem and is looking for a solution. Finding, demonstrating and implementing the solution is very cool. But closing the deal meaning selling the software to fit the clients solution is many times a thrill. This is because its like a race or playing a sport because you have many people wanting to help you with the solution and many competitors trying to beat you. I really enjoy the teamwork in developing and selling our solutions and it's like a slam dunk when you win and the customer picks you. So the excitement is not always finding a security flaw or security issue, the excitement is when you block the attack with one of your solutions that you designed.
