Does anyone here work in the Fashion Industry particularly the Communications side of it/PR
I am majoring in Communications and I love fashion! Does anyone have any idea on how I can merge the two together? #fashion #communications #public-relations

The combination of the two, I think it is not necessary, but it does not affect the two of you love, the two are to learn, understand. Everyone has their own field, but they also have their favorite fields. They may not always become experts in all fields, but they can learn together.

I would change your major to Communications, Mass Communications, or PR and have Fashion Design as your Minor. Fashion Design as a Major is not going to help you get into PR or Advertising for fashion brands later. They don't care if you know about the Fashion Design aspect as long as you know the role you are applying for. Also, I'm sure everyone is telling you this, but it's because it's truth... INTERN! Biggest mistake ever for college students is not taking advantage of internship opportunities! Hope that helps.
