Thaiz’s Answer

Marketing career requires good knowledge on logic and statistics to be able to understand and translate data into information and use it to determine trends and strategy. Maths is part of it, but not all.
A good part of marketers job is also understanding people behaviour, since it is not an exact science.

Arun’s Answer

Studying math’s helps you develop skills in logical thinking and statistical or strategic knowledge, which are valued by employers in the field of marketing. If you are keen to use your mathematical skills in your chosen career, a relevant industrial year out or final year project/dissertation will be helpful. In marketing you would be using software’s like MS Excel which requires math’s and statistics.
