Hi Jonovin,

Keep your grades up in high school, and apply during your senior year. I also suggest submitting the application earlier in the process too, as I recall the year I applied they stopped admitting people outside of Santa Clara county towards the deadline.

I have a few questions for you. What is your intended area of study? When you graduate from San Jose State University what type of job do you expect to get? Do you have a resume?

I check the school's website: I see the following colleges
Business
Education
Engineering
Graduate Studies
Health and Human Services
Humanities and the Arts
Professional and Global Education
Science
Social Sciences

Each school will have its requirements for admission as well for graduating. I agree with Herman Liu, keep your GPA as high as possible. make sure you know the admission requirements for the school you want to attend. Apply as earlier as possible. Stay abreast of deadline for submission of your application.

I believe your dreams are attainable as long as you do your due diligence in meeting or exceeding the requirements. Good Luck!!
