How can I improve my performance?

I have been playing trumpet for many years and want to improve my technique for mariachi performances. I love to play mariachi music, but I don't seem to have the right "mariachi sound" at times. What can I do to improve? #music #musician #music-performance #mariachi #trumpet

Hi. I would listen to as much mariachi music as possible. Also, find a mentor - someone who plays mariachi music and let him/her coach you, help you get your best sound. Good luck!

Practice as much as possible. Plus watch others both great & not so great. You can learn what & what not to do. If you feel you can't learn anymore, then it's time for a a career change.
