Does becoming a doctor provide the opportunity to balance time between work and family?
My objective is to get into the medical field. I wanted to know if becoming a doctor will affect my personal life. #doctor #career #medicine #pathologist #pathology
Different specialties require different amounts of sacrifice of personal time. Think about what area you would specialize in. They are very much not all created equally and some specialties afford a lot more personal time than others

RS P., one way you could interpret Michele's advice is to conclude that you can, in fact, have a balance, but only in certain sub-careers of healthcare. If having balance is important to you, you can make that a priority as you design your career and make sure to target medical specialties that do give you the balance you want.
