What college is best to go to for OBGYN?

I am currently looking for 3 of the best colleges that would help a lot with my future of being an OBGYN? A college that helps a lot with financial aid, and has helpful students and administration. #help #pediatric-nursing #pediatric-nursing #medical-school

Hi Briana! So to be an OB/GYN you would need to go to medical school. Initially in college you prepare for medical school; you are a premed student in college because you will be taking prerequisites for medical school like biology, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, etc., to name a few. I think in selecting a college it is important to research the class/campus size, the tuition fund, the amount of advising and support for students who are interested in going to medical school and becoming physicians. These criteria can help in narrowing your choices. I think in college, wherever you go, it is important to do well in classes and have a strong GPA and MCAT score for medical school (3.8+ GPA and 508+ MCAT score), get involved in extracurriculars like volunteering, clinically and non-clinically, research, and shadowing a physician. Colleges will have premed advisers so make sure to connect with one when you begin college as they will help in having more information about medical school. I think overall whichever college you attend it is important to do well personally as a student, and that is something to focus on for medical school!
