Hey!
I have gone through the process of looking for internships and things of that nature. When it comes to physical therapy aides/technicians there are little to no clearly stated internships. It’s a field where long standing employment makes it really helpful for the clinics to not have to hire new aides and train them.
With that being said, I used indeed and searched for part time jobs as an aide and got a couple interviews. Some hiring managers will tell you straight out that working for a set amount of time isn’t gonna work for them while some are in need of help urgently and are willing to extend the offer.
I would say the best thing to do is get on a job search app and start to network while clearly stating your abilities or inabilities to work and see if there is a good fit for you.

Hi there!
These are my top sites where I look for job postings. At first glance, I see some Physical Therapist jobs (missing the Technician piece though).
1. Glassdoor
2. Indeed
3. LinkedIn
Another option could be the American Physical Therapy Association jobs site: https://pt.az.associationcareernetwork.com/jobs/ . You could also look up other schools' Physical Therapy Technician programs and see if they have career resources to review.
In terms of internships-- if you are not seeing any formal internships posted, you could try reaching out to a clinic that is hiring and see if they would allow you to do an informational interview, or perhaps intern or shadow. You can frame the request like "I am currently studying/recently finished studying Physical Therapy at XYZ and I would love the opportunity to gain in-person experience." Essentially, create your own internship :)
Hope that helps!
Check out job sites for businesses that are hiring in the area
Reach out to those businesses to see if they would be interested in an intern, or at a minimum an informational interview
