Do all majors have internship and study abroad opportunities?

I was wondering for a specific major would an internship opportunity be available at ease or would I have to go looking. Also does each major have a study abroad opportunity? #college #college-major #college-admissions #college-bound #college-recruiting

Many majors and career areas have internships and study abroad opportunities. Talk to you school counselor about coop, intern, shadowing, and volunteer opportunities. Also here is a site that will help to locate internships:

The availability of study abroad programs is pretty specific to degree and university. Your choice of where and for how long will also depend on the aforementioned factors. So, yes, you will have to do specific research to see which ones appeal to you the most.

I actually did not have as much of an opportunity to study abroad as other majors. My major was in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry and to graduate within 4 years, I could not take a semester abroad. None of the courses were offered abroad either. In talking with my other engineering major friends, this was generally the case. I wish I had taken some time to study abroad though!

Most students who are double majors may not have the opportunity to study abroad.
