Leo’s Answer

Hello Kween

You're a student, so you can start by paying attention to what subjects you enjoy more at school. Which assignments do you find easier to understand or do? You can also consider activities outside of school, of course. Once you identify these subjects you can start asking what career options you can pursue where these areas will be exercised.

I see you already tagged this question with art, so maybe you can start asking or searching for careers where art will be used. You can also narrow down the search by considering additional areas of interest. For instance, if you're also interested in technology, then you might want to combine art and technology, and that path can lead you to becoming a digital artist, or maybe work for movie studios making special effects.

Feel free to come back here and ask more questions once you've identified more areas of interest.

Mickael’s Answer

Hi Kween,

Well, kind of what Leo said.

If you are interested in peaceful thing, maybe have a look in the environment. Art is a good thing though dangerous in a sense that it may or may not give you the income you need. It is somewhat unknown.

(1) What topic do you like (school, life ...)?
(2) What don't you mind doing even under stress, deadline, imposed restrictions ...?
(3) What are you good at?

If (2) is something you really can't stand, then you probably up for soloist, entrepreneur career where you can impose or not your own. (2) is usually why I tend to warn people not to use their passion as a target for career because working for someone or alone is not the same at all.

Renee’s Answer

First off, it is not a career that brings peace, it is you. With that being said, there are careers that seek to bring justice and peace to a community or to the world. It all depends on what you mean about peace and who you want to bring peace to.

I would suggest that you research careers that offer some form of counseling, coaching or comfort through their execution. Art brings peace to most people as it allows them to create in a flow and not think for that moment about the inequities or problems in the world and through their art they can make some sort of statement to help others see that peace and justice.

Any art medium can do that, you just need to know which one you are passionate about like photography, visual art, (which can include painting, drawing, design, printmaking, etc. ), paper art, fiber art....etc. There are plenty of types of art you could focus on.

You also might consider art therapy which helps others utilize art to help them cope.
I hope that helps.
