Hi Rael,

You are definitely off to a good start with a caring heart to help others regardless what career you will choose.

I agree with what Marylou's point on combining your interest and strengths which not only narrows down your list but increase the chance of a successful career.

If you have multiple interests, you might try an Interdisciplinary, Liberal Studies, or General Studies major, that will let you combine multiple interests. Or an Individually Designed major that you can even name yourself.

Marie’s Answer

I like that idea of writing down what your interests are and grouping them. There are so many options to keep you outdoors and moving around. Is nature or interest? The parks systems in your state may be a good place to start.

Marylou’s Answer

First write down your interest. Than group similar ones together. Also create a list of what you like to do and a list of your strengths and weaknesses. That should help narrow down the field.

Kendrick’s Answer

I concur with all the professionals points. Writing down is a great way to put things into perspective of what you like and don't. I was always told by mentors to do what you love. Though finances are a major factor in deciding a career or job, but when you can wake and do something you love daily it's more life fulfilling. Also, begin to look at careers within your interest. Volunteering is another option as well.
