I think one way to help expand your channel would be to network in other groups. Find a way to attract more viewers by expanding your content to attract a more diverse audience.

This is a good question and one that I am sure many people have! You've got to have something that helps you stand out.

Let's start with a couple of questions to ask yourself, and please be honest with yourself!

-Why would someone want to watch you play games vs. someone else?
-Is there something unique that you bring to the table?
-Are you performing at the top of your level and are you ranked?
-Do you have an ability that distinguishes yourself from your competition that is hard to imitate?

Let's say the answer is 'yes' to all the above.

-What are you doing to increase viewership?
-Are you promoting your stream/videos in a channel that can reach lots of people?
-Are you fully utilizing social media?
-Who is your competition and currently successful?

You're going to find that this is a very competitive field - those who work the hardest and dedicate their time to this will make it to the top. Game on!

Awesome! My fiancé is huge video gamer and really enjoys watching gaming clips and channels on YouTube. A few tips I can offer are:

- Tag and categorize clips clearly with the type of game/program you want to share
- If you have a channel, promote people to subscribe! You could share secret tips or post a surprise vid for all subscribers as engagement
- Use all platforms of social media to post your clips. You can try instagram to post teaser clips and have people "click link in bio" to lead your YT
- Get excited about updates and changes to your fave games and post them for your subscribers
- Add music and fun audio to make your gaming vids exciting
- Post a get to know you video so people can put a face to you!

You can not rely on just game play to be successful here. You have to be able to bring something to the table as an entertainer yourself. People will want to watch you and the games are just the topic you are talking about.
