Catrina’s Answer

That would depend on your states requirements. Generally there are a certain number of hours required to complete the Cosmetology Program. It's generally around 1500 hours, and depending on if you attend full or part time, it could take up to a year.

LaTerricka’s Answer

This generally depends on two things: the state required hours of instruction plus some licensing test and honestly how involved you are in the program. If you are full time and rarely miss a day then you could be done in about 10 months to a little under a year. But say if you have a busy life and can only do part time then you could possibly be looking closer to a year or more.

Sikawayi’s Answer

Hello Kinslee, thank you for your question. it's my understanding that most cosmetologists go to school for less than two years, it really depends on the state your located in. Also, once you get your license you can still take more classes for further education. Best of luck
