What is a day in the life of a private household cook like?

Say i wanted to be a Cook for a private household, what would that day consist of? Would it be busy or a slow day. Who would i be cooking for and how long would i be working there during the day

There is no “regular routine” day when working as a private chef for someone’s family. Every family is different with various sizes and different dietary needs. Once you know who you are cooking for though, then the real magic happens.

Once you click with your clients, it is a wonderful experience joining someone’s household on a day to day basis. One thing is super important however, and that is privacy. What happens inside the clients home, stays inside the clients home, period! Sort of like patient/Dr. Confidentiality, or with your lawyer.

All in all it is a wonderful career and can be very rewarding! In reality, who can place a dollar amount on the nourishment of one’s family. I hope this helped! Good luck and God Bless!!
