I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian from very early on and I was very motivated to get to that goal. I focused on my studies/education as well as getting relevant experience along the way to not only explore what the profession what was like but to help on my applications to veterinary school.

My motivation came from my experience with my first pet cat. She got sick and my mother noticed that I was skilled in caring for animals.
