Are their ways to make more money over time in the Child Protective Services field?
I was wondering if the salary stays the same over time in this field? If it increases or you cant work your way up?

The agency that I work in, you receive a yearly performance raise on a step system, moving up one step each year. There are also different ranges you can be on too, such as moving up a range for having a masters degree, or your social worker license. It all depends on your position, experience, and qualifications. The top step in my position as a caseworker right now is $35 an hour. Ultimately though, if you like and appreciate the work, that’s what counts.

Many agency's provide raises from time to time. But it's never a guarantee. Usually higher positions come with higher salaries and there is a little room to move up in the CPS field.
