Many child protection agencies are looking for people with bachelor's in social work or some sort of human science. Some school and states have intensive internships that lead to employment with state agencies. Social work is ideal for it as many CPS are now pushing for social work ethics. There are also non-profits who assist with youth in crisis and overlap with CPS. To work with youths, I suggest looking into social work.
