Are there any schools for nursing that will accept you with a 15 on your ACT?

I have lost all hope in myself.

Liz’s Answer

Ms. Crystal-

This journey of becoming a nurse is a struggle, and I am sure MOST of us can honestly say that we have had these same thoughts!

Including myself, also I felt that when I didn’t pass certain courses that I was not good enough to become a nurse.

BUT someone taught me something very important early on, and that is:

Those students who get lower scores are meant to be nurses because they make the best clinical nurses!
(This worked for me and I began to not stress when I failed, or didn’t score high enough on exams)

Some of us just have a harder time with our studies AND that’s okay!

Do NOT ever GIVE UP and if this is your passion KEEP GOING!!!

If you would like some individual mentoring PLEASE let me know.

Best of LUCK and Keep PUSHIN

A list of colleges will generate
In addition, I want to advise you to consider taking courses to improve your computer skills. This was an easy computer search to produce the information you required. Excellent computer skills are essential to be successful in any college program. In addition, if your knowledge level is demonstratably higher than is reflected in your ACT score, I strongly suggest using resources to improve your test taking ability. Nursing is a demanding career choice requiring above all intelligence and the ability to think critically. The desire to be a nurse is essential but the knowledge, skills and tools are demanded for success. Good luck.
