Hello Maurice!

The great thing about Blender is it's popular because it's a free program for 2D & 3D projects!

A good place you can get tips from is YouTube!
Due to it's popularity, many people have created tutorials for beginners.
Some artists and animators find Blender to be a "learning curve." However, if you understand Blender, you can pretty much do anything in terms of 3D modelling and can transfer you skills to other 3D programs easily.

New users to Blender usually start with the donut project. You learn how to navigate the program, use keyboard shortcuts, and create an appetizing donut.
Check out the Blender Guru's series here! | https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjEaoINr3zgFX8ZsChQVQsuDSjEqdWMAD

Another place I suggest is Twitter. They're are accounts that posts Blender tips frequently. These posts can help you fill in any gaps of knowledge if you're missing something from tutorials.

Some accounts you should check out are:
- Jan Van Den Hemel | https://twitter.com/JanvandenHemel
- cgcookie | https://twitter.com/cgcookie

After getting used to Blender for a while, you can learn how to do more projects. Watching other artists can help you get inspiration.

Some pro Blender channels you can look at are:
- YanSculpts | https://www.youtube.com/@yansculpts
- J Hill | https://www.youtube.com/@artofjhill
- Ilya Gagarin | https://www.youtube.com/@IlyaGagarin
- Follygon | https://www.youtube.com/@Follygon

Sending you the best as you explore Blender :)

Hello Maurice 👋

1. Take it Easy, Start Simple: Don’t stress out, buddy! Begin with basic shapes and gradually move to more complex stuff. Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?
2. YouTube is Your BFF: Seriously, there’s a goldmine of tutorials out there. You can learn practically anything from Blender pros. So hit up YouTube and learn away!
3. Practice Like a Champ: Like playing a sport, the more you practice, the better you get. So keep modeling and don’t be afraid to experiment.
4. Keep Your Topology Tidy: It’s like tidying up your room—clean topology makes your models look sharp and behave well during animation.
5. Snap it into Place: Snapping tools are like magnets for your vertices. They’ll help you align stuff perfectly. Use ’em and save time!
6. Blender Shortcuts FTW: Hotkeys are your secret weapon! Memorize those shortcuts, and you’ll zoom through your modeling tasks.
7. Embrace Reference Images: It’s like a roadmap for your model. Gather reference images, slap ’em in Blender, and stay on the right track.
8. Be Open to Feedback: Don’t be shy to share your work and ask for feedback. Others’ eyes might spot things you missed.
9. Sculpt It Up: Need to model something organic? Sculpt mode is your go-to. It’s like digital clay – get messy and have fun!
10. Let Your Creativity Shine: 3D modeling is an art form, so let your imagination run wild. Don’t be afraid to put your unique twist on things.

There you go! Keep these tips in mind, and you’ll be rocking the Blender world in no time! Happy modeling, mate! 🎉🚀
