Michel’s Answer

Know that there are sacrifices in the medical field. It is hard but it is absolutely doable and it is extremely rewarding. Going from undergraduate up to medical school was absolutely one of the best transitions i have had in life. I went from grinding having to make sure i was pulling 95 percent averages and having to lose sleep all the time. To a pass fail system where we are training and actually putting our skills to practice. Expect there to be a competitive environment but most people in school are willing to work together to get through it. If you have more questions let me know. Always happy to answer medical school questions.

Rian’s Answer

Hi September!

Going to medical school is a super difficult journey, but it is a super rewarding one. Applying to medical school requires you to complete core classes at a undergraduate college, including biology, physics, chemistry, math, and biochemistry. While focusing on school, a big part of your application requires you to focus on extracurriculars. This can include volunteering, shadowing, working in a clinical setting, and more. Not only that, you must also take the MCAT, which is the medical school version of the SAT. Your MCAT score is super important and is the culmination of all your studies!

Best of luck on your journey!
