What are the best things about a real estate agent ?

I am a 8th grader wondering if I should really be a real estate agent I know the pay is really well but will this job really make me happy do people really enjoy this job what are some thoughts about being a real estate?

If you enjoy working with people, this could be the career for you!

Positive of being a real estate agent:

- set your own schedule
- work with other people
- meet lots of people

Negatives of being a real estate agent:

- time consuming. You spend weekends and evenings showing houses to people, putting together contracts, negotiating
- if the housing market takes a downturn, not as many people will be buying houses. This will negatively impact the amount of money you are making
- things are out of your control. If someone decides not to buy a house after you find one they reallyyy like then you will just have to accept that decision
