Johnny’s Answer

I’m going to answer as if it’s hospitality based. Even if it’s not, what I will write can apply to any profession. I’ve been in the restaurant industry since I was 16. I’m now 62 loving it more then ever.

Learning is and will always be ongoing. You will never stop learning. When and if you do consider your career over. Everyday I learn from someone else. May not even be related to my business. I’m a sponge ( be a sponge) learn everyday and learn from everybody. Regardless of a person place in life they can teach you something. It’s when you decide you know it all and don’t need them your career is over

Committing to what is hopefully your career never ends. As you learn you expand knowledge, as you expand new energy steps in and catches your attention. You may find times where you get bored, trust it happens. Look in the mirror, tell the person you see it’s time to look at your career differently and commit to a new way of thinking and acting

To me owning my business I want to know it all. I understand doing so means pushing myself and having those around me push me as well. It never ends,

As I stated, my business is I own a private chef business. I cook in clients homes. The clients I cook for all inspire me. They teach me as I do them. Relationships you start open the doors in your life and career.

Enjoy the ride
