How do I become an interior decorator?
How do I become an interior decorator? I’ve heard many ways of getting into this career. I have an art degree with an emphasis in design. I am working on building up my portfolio. I have a decent amount of projects to put into it. I am wondering if this is enough to apply for either internships or jobs. I am looking into online interior decorating programs but many seem as though they are not legitimate. I am not sure which one to choose.

Hi Hannah. I majored in interior design. I believe with your degree you can most certainly apply for an internship and possibly a job in interior decorating. Many opportunities where the company can train you in areas you may need more experience. I am so excited for you. Hope this helps.
