I'd talk to your college counselor if you have one, as he/she will have a lot of useful information for you. You might also be able to find college guidebooks at your local library, but you'll want to make sure they're fairly recent. Online, U.S. News & World Report allows you to search for any college and learn more about it, and they have lists such as colleges that are the best value or colleges by state. https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges The College Board also has great resources to help you learn about one or more schools: https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/find-colleges

Brandon’s Answer

It can depend on what your definition of "good" is. Are we talking about being overall good or good in a particular area of interest such as a department of the school being more advanced than other schools. In any case, the most reliable option you can pick is to talk to your school counselor/advisor or talk to an advisor at that college. They can typically give you the answers to your questions. Another way is to look up reviews from students that went to the school online. However, with this method you must know that it will be extremely bias and may have opinions that will differ from what you will experience. On sites like LinkedIn, you can find current students that may reply to any questions that you have (as long as they aren't so complicated that the average student would not no the answer).
