Melody’s Answer

Hi Natasha,

There are many reasons why we need to go to school. When we are younger, we are told to go to school to get ready to be active in the world as adults. Adults also go to school even after high school for many reasons. Here are some of them:
To learn skills like reading, writing, math, and critical thinking.
To see things from multiple views so when we grow up we can make informed decisions.
To expose ourselves to experiences that are different from our own at home and in our communities.
To provide spaces for exploration, self-awareness, and connection with other kids.
To develop social skills, civic participation, and independence.
To provide stability and financial security.
To promote equality.
To make our dreams come true.
To encourage critical thinking.
To develop future goals.
To strengthen communities.

I hope you find your reason(s) for going and staying in school. It may not be easy, but if you can crave a life you mostly enjoy living, then you have made going to school work for you.

Sam’s Answer

Hello Natasha, there are a ton of great reasons why people choose to go to school, and here are just a few:

1. It's a place where you can gather knowledge and learn new skills.
2. It's a social hub where you can meet new friends and learn how to interact with others.
3. It helps you to think critically and solve problems.
4. It gets you ready to tackle future challenges and seize opportunities.
5. It nurtures your sense of civic duty and responsibility.
6. It's a space for personal growth and development.
7. And of course, it's a stepping stone to a successful career, as education often leads to better job opportunities, a higher salary, and less chance of being unemployed.

Going to school is not just beneficial for you personally, but it also helps society and the economy to grow and thrive.

Grete’s Answer

Hi Natasha,

People in society go to school to educate themselves. This education may be used to pursue interests in various fields and opens opportunities for people to explore. Usually, education will assist in obtaining a job in the future.

Schools teach technical skills, soft skills, relationship building, team efforts, and grow personally.

I hope this helps!
