Are there any Forensic Sceince programs for High School Juniors/Seniors?

My name is Alize-Jazel and I am a Junior at Democracy Prep. I am very interested in having a career in Forensic
science and maybe anthropology, but it it hard to find programs that sponsor that field of study. I also find it hard to find interships involving forensic science. what should i do? #science #forensic

A slightly different point--while you're in high school, if internships are difficult to obtain, that doesn't mean you should stop trying to get experience and to learn more about forensic science. You should regularly read forensic science blogs, you can check out some of the top ones here:

And you can take free online courses to get a taste of what it might be like studying this topic:

Hi Alize-Jazel--

There are many internship for college students (with the CIA, FBI, Department of Homeland Security, US Dept of Justice, NY State Police). The only program, I've heard of for high school student is with the Westchester County Forensic Laboratory, in Westchester, NY. You can apply to get shadowing experience. If you live in New York City, you are eligible to apply. You can look at the info here (scroll to near bottom of the page):

You should apply if you're interested, and you should definitely also ask the Westchester lab where they know of other opportunities, perhaps closer to where you live in New York.
