What GPA do UC schools look like?

When applying to UC schools in California, what GPA do the schools look at (i.e. scholastic, weighted, unweighted, etc), because I want to be prepared to take the right classes?

3.5 and above. It's very competitive, but worth it with the education and network.

The UC system is highly competitive! Each school has a varying level of GPA requirement so you should definitely do some research on the UC school's that interest you and figure out what level of GPA they typically admit. But your GPA wont guarantee you admission anywhere, its important to perform well in school but also to show you have passions outside of the classroom.
