Hi Danya -

Yes, you can pursue a medical career as a student with a PCM background, but you'll have to put in extra effort. Since most medical fields require a strong foundation in Biology, your main challenge is to learn the subject thoroughly.

Your Action Plan
1. Prepare for NEET: The most direct path to a medical career (like becoming a doctor) is by taking the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). The exam has a mandatory Biology section. You'll need to self-study the entire Biology syllabus for classes 11 and 12, or join a coaching program specifically for NEET.
2. Explore Alternative Fields: If a direct medical degree isn't for you, consider related fields that are more aligned with your PCM background. Many of these don't require NEET and value your skills in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

- Allied Health Sciences: These include fields like Optometry, Radiography, Physiotherapy, and Medical Laboratory Technology. Your strong grasp of Physics and Chemistry will be very useful here.

- Biotechnology & Bioinformatics: Your computer science and math skills are a huge advantage in these fields, which combine biology with technology.

- Pharmacy: This field is heavily focused on the chemistry of drugs, making your Chemistry background a great asset.

- Forensic Science: This interdisciplinary field uses scientific principles to solve crimes and can be a great fit for someone with a PCM background.

Hope this helps, best of luck!

Because you are only in high school, it doesn't matter. Even in college, people change their mind and major all the time. You can still pursue medicine.
