When you were a student, did you do anything outside of school to build skills or get knowledge that has helped your career?

When I was a student I acquired a student job on campus in the Financial Aid Office. This allowed me to work with student and parents financial information including assets, tax forms, and eligibility questions. This exposed me to financials and customer service while completing my bachelors degree. When it came time to complete a internship I obtained an internship in tax services which also gained me experience once I graduated.
